Right, so I'm back to write some words of wisdom... Ha! I've been enlightened today and will refrain such foolishness. There is no wisdom in me to share with the world. How do I know? A 7 year old girl told me this morning as I was walking her to school. My little girl was trying to tell me about someone she thought we both knew but I failed to understand who she was talking about. "Mummy, you never understand anything!"
So there you have it. This is what Athena shouted at me this morning, and that pretty much summed up what I've learned today.
And I feel a bit lighter for it... because it's true; what I understand about life is probably the size of a grain of sand in this Universe. But in that grain of sand, in spite of all my shortcomings, lies the beginning of wisdom, because I strive to understand myself, so that I can relate to the world from the heart in balance with my mind and gut... so that I can stand firmly with both feet on the ground and not fall over as soon as I meet resistance.

If you've understood the grain of sand, you've understood everything... or as William Blake put it better than me:
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
